Today, I am incredibly excited to officially welcome you to our website and celebrate the launch of this dream.

My name is Thomas Bridges, founder of Bridges 1984 Candle Co. I was born and raised in Alabama and now call Thomasville home. Growing up in the South shaped who I am in so many ways. The landscapes, traditions, hospitality, and memories of Southern life continue to inspire every candle we create.

From pine forests and rainy backroads to warm bakeries, bourbon gatherings, holiday traditions, and blooming Southern gardens, scent has always had a powerful connection to memory for me. I wanted to create candles that captured those feelings in a way that felt authentic, comforting, and elevated.

What began as a personal passion slowly turned into something much bigger.

I spent countless evenings testing fragrance oils, experimenting with wax blends, refining recipes, and learning the art of candle making by hand. I wanted every candle to feel intentional, luxurious, and deeply connected to the stories and atmosphere that inspired it. After months of testing, researching, designing, and perfecting each detail, Bridges 1984 Candle Co. was born.

Every candle is hand-poured in small batches using a luxury coconut wax blend and carefully selected fragrance oils. Small-batch production allows me to focus on quality, consistency, and craftsmanship in every jar we produce. From the fragrance combinations to the label designs, each collection is thoughtfully created to reflect the warmth, beauty, and nostalgia of Southern living.
